“Ex-Man United Striker Named in Saudi Pro League Team of the Season Over Ronaldo”

Date:

Despite his impressive goal-scoring record since joining Al Nassr in January, Cristiano Ronaldo has not been selected for the Saudi Pro League’s Team of the Season. The Portuguese superstar has scored 14 goals in 19 games across all competitions, as well as providing two assists. Ronaldo’s start in Saudi Arabia was challenging, taking him three games to score his first goal, but he soon found his form and even scored two hat-tricks. However, former Manchester United and now Al Hilal striker Odion Ighalo leads the attack in the Team of the Season with 19 goals in 27 games. Ronaldo’s Al Nassr teammates Luiz Gustavo and Ghislain Konan were named in midfield and left-back, respectively. Five of the 11 players came from league champions Al Ittihad, with Karim Benzema set to join them this summer from Real Madrid.
