Richard Dunne, former Manchester City captain, has advised Harry Maguire to leave Manchester United at the end of the season and learn his limitations. Maguire has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of manager Erik ten Hag and is now used as a back-up to Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane. However, injuries to fellow centre-backs Martinez and Varane have seen Maguire thrown back into a more prominent role, where he has produced a few errors, including a crucial one in the 3-0 defeat to Sevilla on Thursday. Dunne feels Maguire should leave Old Trafford in the summer transfer window and has been linked with various clubs including French champions Paris Saint-Germain while he turned down a loan to Italian side Inter Milan in January. Dunne believes that Maguire needs to move now because it just keeps happening to him and that he needs to know his limitations as well as a centre-half sometimes. He also thinks that the manager is asking players like Maguire, like Wan-Bissaka, like Luke Shaw, to do things they’re not good at.
