Wilfried Zaha Considers Sensational Return to Premier League
Wilfried Zaha, the former Crystal Palace player, is reportedly considering a return to the Premier League this summer. The 31-year-old joined Galatasaray last year after leaving Selhurst Park at the end of the previous season. During his time at Crystal Palace, Zaha became an Eagles legend, scoring 90 goals and making 76 assists in 458 appearances, making him the greatest player in the club’s history.
Zaha was linked with several clubs when he left Crystal Palace, including Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG, and Al-Nassr. However, he ultimately chose Galatasaray and has had a successful season so far, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists in 31 appearances for the Turkish giants. He even scored against his former club, Manchester United, during the Champions League group stage.
In January, there were rumors of a surprise transfer for Zaha, but he showed little interest in leaving Galatasaray so soon after joining. However, talkSPORT now reports that Zaha may be open to a move back to the Premier League in the summer.
Aston Villa and West Ham are said to have been interested in signing Zaha during the last transfer window and could make a move if the opportunity arises. Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, who previously tried to sign Zaha in 2019 during his time at Arsenal, could potentially bring him to Villa Park this summer.
While Arsenal and Chelsea are unlikely to make another move for Zaha, Arsenal is actively searching for a new winger, with Wolves star Pedro Neto high on their shortlist.
Zaha’s potential return to the Premier League would undoubtedly be a significant move. His skill and experience would be valuable assets to any team, and his previous success in the league speaks for itself. Fans will eagerly await any developments regarding his future.
