Everton’s Keane denies Tottenham win with ‘unbelievable’ goal after Lucas Moura red card tackle.

Date:

Michael Keane of Everton scored a stunning goal from 25 yards out to earn his team a 1-1 draw against Tottenham. The goal was scored in the 90th minute and was a worldie that any team would be proud of. Keane’s goal could be crucial in Everton’s bid for survival in the Premier League.

Danny Murphy, who was commentating for talkSPORT, was full of praise for Keane’s goal, calling it “unbelievable” and urging listeners to watch it. The goal was even more impressive given that just a minute earlier, Keane had been on the receiving end of a late tackle from Lucas Moura, who was sent off just six minutes and 30 seconds after coming on.

Tottenham had taken the lead through Harry Kane’s penalty, which was awarded after Keane kicked Cristian Romero inside the Everton box. However, Keane’s stunning strike ensured that Everton came away with a point from the frenetic Goodison Park clash.

The match also saw Abdoulaye Doucoure get sent off for a petulant slap on Kane. The game had everything and was a thrilling spectacle for fans of both teams.

In other news, Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has been advised to change his fitness regime amid his body transformation. Meanwhile, Graham Potter has rejected an approach from a Premier League club following his departure from Brighton. Chelsea are reportedly eyeing up Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann as potential replacements for sacked manager Frank Lampard.

Finally, DAZN will miss out on EFL broadcast rights from 2024, while Manchester United are said to be plotting to take advantage of Chelsea’s transfer mistake. Chelsea, meanwhile, are drawing up a five-man shortlist to replace Potter, with Enrique among their targets.
