Some fans have been keen to ask who Ten Hag will want to sign, with the Red Devils boss giving a funny response in return.

In a video on TikTok, one youngster asked: “Do you think you’re going to sign Jude Bellingham?”

“I want to, but..” replied Ten Hag, before the the questioner added: “Or Mbappe?”

Another supporter then asked: “Can’t you get both?”

Amid the laughter, the United boss jokingly responded: “Have you some pennies for me?”

“We’ll find some pennies mate, you keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll find the pennies,” said a fan, with supporters clearly pleased with the Dutchman’s job so far.

Bellingham is one of the hottest prospects in world football and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are also interested in the 19-year-old, who has already captained Borussia Dortmund.

Mbappe recently finished as the top scorer at the World Cup in Qatar, with the PSG star scoring eight in the tournament to win the Golden Boot.

It would require big money for him to leave the French giants, especially when his contract doesn’t expire until 2025.

United are in good form as of late and such signings would only strengthen them further.

However, a double swoop of the two talents is unlikely, with both of them set dominate world football for years to come – even if fans do provide a few more pennies.
