Erik ten Hag unsure of extent of Raphael Varane injury ahead of Manchester United vs Arsenal

Erik ten Hag admits he does not know the extent of Raphael Varane’s injury, with Manchester United set to take on Arsenal next Sunday. Varane was subbed off at half-time of United’s comeback win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, and replaced by Victor Lindelof.

As a result, United are looking to sign free agent and former Chelsea, Southampton and Leicester defender Ryan Bertrand.

What’s next for Manchester United?

Up next for United is a match against rivals Arsenal on Sunday. The Gunners remain unbeaten after three games though could only disappointingly draw 2-2 at home to 10-man Fulham on Saturday. It remains to be seen whether or not Varane will be fit enough to play in the match.
