Eric Bailly’s Agent Claims Player’s Rights Violated by Besiktas
Eric Bailly, the former Manchester United star, has been banished by Besiktas, leading his agent to claim that his rights are being violated. The Ivory Coast defender was among five players axed by the Turkish side just 98 days after signing for them.
Bailly, 29, has struggled with injuries this season and has only made eight appearances for Besiktas. As a result, he was removed from first-team duties due to poor performance and incompatibilities within the team.
Rafaela Pimenta, Bailly’s agent, expressed shock at the decision and stated that they are preparing a response to protect the player’s rights. While Besiktas has not canceled Bailly’s contract, he and four other players have been asked to train separately from the first-team squad.

Besiktas, currently managed by Riza Calimbay, sits fifth in the Turkish top flight. The club’s new president, Hasan Arat, has prioritized building a better team and plans to fill the squad’s holes during the winter break.
Bailly joined Manchester United from Villarreal in 2016 and played under former managers Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He achieved success with the club, winning the League Cup and Europa League in his first season. However, injuries have hampered his progress in recent years, leading to loan spells at Ligue 1 side Marseille. Despite being made available for transfer by United in the summer, Bailly’s move to Al-Nassr fell through, and he eventually signed a one-year contract with Besiktas.
