Enzo Fernandez on Life in Premier League and Chelsea Fans’ Chant

Date:

Enzo Fernandez is relishing his time at Chelsea, where he has quickly become a fan favourite. The 21-year-old midfielder, who won the World Cup with Argentina, joined the Blues from Benfica for a record-breaking £106m on deadline day. Despite Chelsea struggling to pick up points, Fernandez has put in some impressive performances since joining the club. He slotted straight into Graham Potter’s starting XI and has been dominating the centre of the park alongside Mateo Kovacic.

Chelsea’s fortunes appear to have turned around after recording successive wins against Leeds and Borussia Dortmund. Fernandez was in full swing last night as he helped his team to victory. Chelsea fans were certainly impressed, chanting Fernandez’s name in the Stamford Bridge stands. The playmaker admits he is delighted to have become a favourite just over a month since his move.

Fernandez said: “It is very important to win two straight home games. I think we are doing things well. Continuing in the Champions League gives us confidence. It is something unimaginable that the people chant my name because I arrived very recently. I feel a lot of differences with this football but the team is helping me a lot. It will take me a bit of time, but I am getting used to it.”

Fernandez also revealed his happiness after a young fan burst onto the pitch asking for his shirt. The ace added: “It was a very nice moment. The boy came running, asked me for the shirt and I gave it to him. Children have that special something that touches my heart a lot and I gave him the shirt.”

Playing for Chelsea is a dream come true for Fernandez, who has always wanted to play in the Premier League. He said: “Being a world champion did not change anything in my head. I will always go for more. Playing for Chelsea is something very passionate and in the Premier League too, because it is a dream I had since I was little.”

Fernandez’s move to Chelsea made him the most expensive midfielder in history. The young star has already shown that he is worth every penny of that price tag. His performances on the pitch have been impressive, and he has quickly become an integral part of the team.

Chelsea fans will be hoping that Fernandez can continue to perform at such a high level. The Blues have had a difficult start to the season, but their recent wins have given them a much-needed boost. With Fernandez in their side, they will be hoping to climb up the Premier League table and challenge for silverware this season.

Fernandez’s success at Chelsea is a testament to his hard work and dedication. He has always been a talented player, but he has worked tirelessly to improve his game and become one of the best midfielders in the world. His move to Chelsea was a big step up, but he has taken it in his stride and shown that he has what it takes to succeed at the highest level.

In conclusion, Enzo Fernandez is loving life at new club Chelsea. He has quickly become a fan favourite and has put in some impressive performances since joining the club. With his talent and dedication, he has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the world. Chelsea fans will be hoping that he can continue to perform at such a high level and help their team to success this season.
