Women’s World Cup 2023: Start Date, Teams, Fixtures, Schedule and TV
The Women’s World Cup 2023 is set to get underway Down Under on Thursday. For the first time in the tournament’s history, the World Cup is being staged across two countries – with Australia and New Zealand on co-hosting duties over the next month.
England Eyeing History
The early starts will not deter England fans from tuning in back home, with much expected of the Lionesses following their incredible Euro 2022 victory on home soil last year. Sarina Wiegman’s side are eyeing their first ever world title, and despite the absence of star players Leah Williamson, Beth Mead and Fran Kirby, England have been installed as one of the favourites to get their hands on the trophy.
