England Selects 9 Liverpool FC Players, Including Talented 17-Year-Old for Debut
Liverpool FC fans have reason to celebrate as nine of their club’s talented youngsters have been selected to represent England at various youth levels this month. Jurgen Klopp’s players are in for a busy international break, with most of the squad jetting off to join their national teams before returning to face Brighton on March 31.
Among the selected players are Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliott, and Tyler Morton, who have been called up to the under-21s squad for their U21 Euro qualifiers against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg. While a break might have been beneficial for Quansah and Elliott, their impressive performances for Liverpool have earned them a well-deserved place in the national team.
Bobby Clark, Kaide Gordon, and Luke Chambers, who is currently on loan at Wigan, have all earned their spots in the U20s team. They will compete in the U20 Elite League and face Poland and the Czech Republic within a span of five days. Clark’s inclusion is particularly noteworthy, as he recently recovered from an ankle injury sustained during a match against Sparta Prague. Klopp has reassured fans that the young player is fit and ready to take on international duties.
In a surprising turn of events, three relatively unknown players at the start of the season have been called up to the U18s team. Jayden Danns, Trey Nyoni, and Amara Nallo have all received this exciting opportunity. Seventeen-year-old Nallo, who was recently on the bench against Southampton and Man City, will be making his debut for the England youth set up. Danns and Nyoni will join him as they participate in the U18 Pinatar Super Cup in Spain. Over the course of six days, they will face tough competition from the Czech Republic, Germany, and the Netherlands.
As Liverpool fans eagerly anticipate the return of their young stars, there is a collective hope that they will come back from international duty fit and healthy. These call-ups serve as a testament to the exceptional form displayed by Klopp’s players and highlight the promising future of Liverpool FC’s youth academy.
