“Dzeko’s Age and Reason for Leaving Man City – Star Has No Regrets”

Date:

Former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is set to face his former club in the Champions League final this weekend as he lines up for Inter Milan. Dzeko has been a key player for Inter this season, playing a crucial role in their success in Europe. Despite being 37 years old, the Bosnian striker is showing no signs of slowing down and has made 51 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season, scoring 14 goals. Since leaving Man City in 2015, Dzeko has played a further 268 games and scored a total of 107 goals. He left Man City due to a falling out with coach Manuel Pellegrini and signed for Roma on an initial loan deal before joining on a permanent deal the following summer for £9million. Speaking about his departure from Man City, Dzeko said: “I was at the best moment of my career and I didn’t want to be on the bench, so I chose Roma. I do not regret it at all, on the contrary.”
