Diogo Jota “Extreme Threat” for Liverpool – Jurgen Klopp

After going over a year without scoring, Diogo Jota is now firmly back in Jurgen Klopp‘s good books. This is not just due to his four goals in two games, but also his pressing ability and variety of goals. Klopp has praised the Portuguese attacker for his smart play and ability to be a threat offensively while still being involved in defensive situations. He also noted that Jota’s only problem was the injury he suffered this season and that he would have more than four goals if not for it. Jota is not the tallest, but has scored eight of his 44 Premier League goals with his head and is gifted with both feet, scoring 16 and 20 goals on his left and right foot respectively. This makes him a valuable asset to the team and explains why he starts instead of Darwin Nunez on the left wing.
