Cristiano Ronaldo shared a joke with Kylian Mbappe after his Paris Saint-Germain teammate delivered a glove to the Portuguese superstar’s face.
PSG’s Keylor Navas had given Ronaldo a nasty looking shiner in the first half of the club’s 5-4 win over the the Saudi Arabia’s All-Stars during an exhibition match on Thursday.
Ronaldo was making his debut in the friendly, and likely wouldn’t have expected such physicality.
In his first game since signing for Al-Nassr, Ronaldo turned out for a team also containing stars from Al-Hilal, and equalised from the spot in the 34th minute.
It wasn’t an easy task to win that penalty, though, with his former Real Madrid teammate, Navas, delivering a nasty punch, albeit unintentionally.
Ronaldo quickly recovered from the incident to put the ball in the back of the net, and did the same again in first-half injury time.
Coming out for the second period, PSG’s Mbappe went to examine the damage Navas had done, with the pair sharing a quick joke.
Following his brace, Ronaldo left the game in the 61st minute in a high-scoring affair.

Rival Lionel Messi also found the back of the net, as did Sergio Ramos, Mbappe, and Marquinos in a match that saw PSG run out 5-4 winners.
Ronaldo wasn’t too bothered by his war scars though, smiling to the camera while on the bench as a roar went up around the King Fahd International Stadium when he appeared on screen.
The former Manchester United star was then happy to pose for pictures after the full-time whistle as he scooped the man-of-the-match award.
