Cristian Stellini Calls for Everton to Improve After 1-1 Draw with Tottenham Hotspur

Date:

Tottenham Hotspur’s interim manager Cristian Stellini has called for an improvement in his side’s personality after their 1-1 draw with Everton in the Premier League. The match, which ended in a draw, saw both teams struggle to create chances and failed to live up to expectations. Stellini believes that his team must show more character and fight if they are to succeed in the league.

The match, which was played at Goodison Park, saw Everton take the lead through a goal from Richarlison in the first half. Tottenham responded in the second half with a goal from Lucas Moura, but were unable to find a winner. Stellini was disappointed with his team’s performance and believes that they need to show more determination and fight if they are to get results in the future.

The Italian manager also believes that his side must be more consistent if they are to challenge for a place in the top four of the Premier League. He said: “We have to improve our personality, we have to be more consistent in our approach. We have to show more determination and fight. We have to be better in the way we play and make sure that we are always on top of our game.”

Stellini’s comments come after a difficult start to his tenure as Tottenham’s interim manager. He has been in charge for just three matches and has yet to win a game. However, he is confident that his team can turn things around and challenge for a place in the top four.

Tottenham will now turn their attention to their next match against Manchester City on April 8th. It will be a tough test for Stellini’s side, but he is confident that they can put in a good performance and get a result. He said: “We have to keep working hard and focus on our next game against Manchester City. We have to show more character and fight if we are to get a result.”
