Indianapolis Colts Tight End Andrew Ogletree Arrested on Domestic Battery Charges
Indianapolis Colts tight end Andrew Ogletree was arrested on Friday and taken into custody at Hendricks County Jail in Danville, Indiana. The charges against him include “domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury” and “domestic battery committed in the physical presence of a child less than 16, knowing the child is present and might be able to see/hear,” according to jail records. Ogletree was booked at 3:42 p.m. ET and is currently being held without bond.
Agent Declines to Comment on Ogletree’s Arrest
Ogletree’s agent, Brian Hamilton, declined to comment on the arrest at this time, according to The Athletic.
Rookie Season Cut Short by Injury
The Colts selected Ogletree in the sixth round of last year’s draft. However, his rookie season was marred by an ACL injury sustained during training camp in 2022, causing him to miss the entire season. This year, Ogletree, 25, made his NFL debut and has played in 12 games so far.
On-Field Performance
Despite his limited playing time, Ogletree has managed to make an impact on the field. In his 12 games, he has recorded nine receptions for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
