    Chelsea fans will be rubbing their hands together with Christopher Nkunku making an electric start to RB Leipzig’s clash against Celtic.

    Nkunku, who has reportedly passed a medical ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, put the German side ahead against Celtic in the Champions League group match.

    The 24-year-old forward latched onto a through ball before rounding Hoops goalkeeper Joe Hart and sliding it into the net with his left foot.

    Nkunku thought he had opened the scoring a little earlier with a delightful chip over Hart, however, a VAR review showed the Frenchman was just offside in the build-up.

    He nearly turned provider just before the break as his outrageous assist found Timo Werner, however, the former Chelsea man couldn’t get the ball past Hart.
