Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez were spotted arriving at Manchester United’s training ground to meet their new teammates for the first time.
The pair showed up at Carrington on Tuesday morning on a dramatic day for the club as Cristiano Ronaldo also returned for showdown talks.
He arrived with agent Jorge Mendes, with Sir Alex Ferguson also at the training at the same time.
Eriksen and Martinez have both been summer signings for the Red Devils, but were too late to take part in the club’s tour of Thailand and Australia.
Eriksen was announced by United on July 15, but is yet to be pictured in a club shirt.
The Red Devils have confirmed an agreement is in place with Ajax for centre-back Martinez, but no official unveiling has taken place just yet.
That is likely to come imminently as the pair met their new teammates.
The pair’s paths did not cross at Ajax, with Eriksen leaving in 2013 and Martinez not arriving until 2019.
But it appears they have already bonded as they showed up to Carrington in the same car.
The centre-back will be able to inform his new teammate of what he can expect from Erik ten Hag, who also joined from Ajax this summer.
Much has been made about his no-nonsense attitude and strict rules he has placed on his players.
One was even reportedly dropped from a pre-season friendly team after being late to a team meeting.
