‘Chelsea’s Season Doomed as Lampard’s Blues Lose to Brighton’

According to Jamie O’Hara and Gabby Agbonlahor, hosts of talkSPORT, Chelsea may not win another game this season after Frank Lampard suffered his third loss in a row on his Stamford Bridge return. The Blues were defeated 2-1 by Brighton, with Danny Welbeck and Julio Enisco overturning Conor Gallagher’s opener. The defeat leaves Chelsea in 11th place in the Premier League table, in the midst of one of their worst-ever campaigns. The team’s performance against Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals was also lacklustre. Brighton dominated their opponents, taking three points from west London and recording 25 shots, which is unacceptable for an away team at Stamford Bridge. Agbonlahor stated that if Lampard cannot motivate his players, then who can? O’Hara added that he does not believe Chelsea will win another game this season, a sentiment that Agbonlahor agreed with.
