Mauricio Pochettino is set to take charge of his first football match in a year as he leads out the World XI at Soccer Aid this weekend. The Chelsea boss will have to discuss tactics with Usain Bolt and Tommy Fury weeks before he can officially iron out plans at Stamford Bridge. Pochettino will be preparing to set up a new-look Chelsea team, but first, he will manage the World XI at Soccer Aid 2023. The Argentine coach has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain last July and is lending his experience to the charity match for Unicef. The Blues have confirmed that Pochettino will begin his new role on July 1, leaving him free to be involved in Soccer Aid during the off-season. His first Chelsea game will also come with a celebrity factor as his side face Wrexham with Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in America. Soccer Aid 2023 will take place on Sunday, June 11, at Old Trafford with exclusive commentary from Manchester on talkSPORT.
