Chelsea vs Everton: Resurgent Blues Aim to Extend Winning Streak Against Struggling Toffees

Chelsea and Everton are set to face each other in a crucial Premier League clash this evening. Both teams are in need of a victory to get their season on track and improve their position in the league table.

Chelsea have had a poor run under Graham Potter, but they have managed to win their last three matches in all competitions, including a 3-1 win over Leicester City last weekend. Despite their recent success, they remain in tenth place in the league table, 11 points behind Tottenham Hotspur in fourth place. To have any hope of claiming European football, they must go on a winning streak.

On the other hand, Everton secured a vital win over Brentford last weekend to move out of the relegation zone. However, they are still just one point above the bottom three and have played a game more than most of their rivals. A win against Chelsea would be a huge boost for their confidence and their chances of avoiding relegation.

The Premier League clash between Chelsea and Everton will kick off at 5:30pm. Chelsea’s starting XI will include Kepa, Fofana, Koulibaly, Badiashile, James, Fernandez, Kovacic, Chilwell, Pulisic, Havertz, and Felix. Their substitutes will be Bettinelli, Chalobah, Cucurella, Chukwuemeka, Gallagher, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Madueke, and Mudryk.

Everton’s starting XI will include Pickford, Coleman, Tarkowski, Keane, Godfrey, Doucoure, Onana, Gueye, Iwobi, McNeil, and Gray. Their substitutes will be Begovic, Holgate, Mina, Coady, Mykolenko, Davies, Garner, Maupay, and Simms.
