Chelsea legend John Terry spotted singing and dancing with Blues fans in the away end at Anfield

A video has emerged of Chelsea legend John Terry singing and dancing with the club’s fans away at Liverpool.

The Blues travelled to Anfield in what was, unusually, a mid-table Premier League clash and they mustered up a 0-0 draw with their foes, despite injury issues.

But that did not stop the away fans who made the trip up to Merseyside, including Chelsea legend Terry, making the most of it.

The former England international was spotted among the fans which attracted quite the crowd, and the 42-year-old was quickly surrounded.

But the Blues icon looked like he was having the time of his life, posing for pictures and selfies and joining in with chants of ‘John Terry has won the double’.

Terry remains a popular figure at Stamford Bridge, where he has returned as a coaching consultant at the club’s youth academy.

It wasn’t the win Terry and Chelsea’ supporters will have hoped for but it will have eased concerns about the direction of the club.

Current manager Graham Potter has come under increasing pressure in recent times but they were the better team as Liverpool once again stuggled.

A raft of new signings this month, including debutant Mykhailo Mudryk, who looked a firecracker when he came on against the Reds, look set to boost the beleaguered Blues.

Noni Madueke was not in the squad but joined on Friday while Benoit Badiashile started and now has two clean sheets in two appearances for the club.

“I thought the performance was good,” Potter told BT Sport. “Happy with the team, the energy, what we tried to do. At Anfield, it is always tough. It is a clean sheet and a point, we move forward.

“Overall, a positive day, apart from the fact we wanted three points.”
