Reports suggest that Chelsea are open to offers for midfielder Conor Gallagher in the upcoming summer transfer window. A number of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Newcastle United, West Ham, Crystal Palace, and Everton, are said to be interested in signing the England international. Gallagher has made 37 appearances for Chelsea this season but the club is under Financial Fair Play pressure after spending over £600m since the summer and may be forced to sell academy graduates. The 23-year-old impressed on loan at Crystal Palace last season and was named the club’s Player of the Year. West Ham reportedly views Gallagher as a possible replacement for Declan Rice, while Newcastle may be able to offer him Champions League football. Everton attempted to sign Gallagher in January but he was not interested in a move to the Toffees.
Chelsea decides on Conor Gallagher’s future amidst interest from five clubs.
