Chelsea Reportedly Ready to Reignite Interest in Barcelona Star Raphinha

According to reports, Chelsea is prepared to enter the race to sign Barcelona star Raphinha. The Blues previously attempted to acquire him in 2022, but he ultimately joined the Catalan giants in a £55 million move from Leeds.

Raphinha previously disclosed that he rejected Chelsea because his dream was to play for Barca.

However, in just his second season with the club, the Brazilian winger could potentially be put up for sale.

Last season, Raphinha recorded ten goals and ten assists in 50 games. However, due to injuries, suspension, and underwhelming performances this season, he has lost his place in the starting XI.

Reports suggest that Barcelona may consider selling him if his form does not improve soon.

Chelsea and Newcastle Interested in Raphinha

Both Chelsea and Newcastle have expressed interest in signing Raphinha should he become available.

The 26-year-old caught the attention of several top clubs during his two seasons in the Premier League with Leeds.

However, some Chelsea fans are not enthusiastic about the speculation linking their club with Raphinha’s signature.

Raphinha primarily plays on the right-wing, a position in which Cole Palmer has already excelled.
