Cesc Fabregas reveals his toughest rivals, recommends attacking transfer for Chelsea, and names Jamal Musiala as best youngster in the game right now

    Cesc Fabregas was enjoyed a highly decorated career in football, winning trophies for both club and country.

    His stints at Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea mean he has played for some of the top sides in the world, and against some of the game’s biggest stars.

    The 35-year-old has played against some of the best in the sport, and has now revealed his most difficult opponents.

    Fabregas took part in a Q&A on Twitter, and was asked who his toughest rivals were during his time in the Premier League.

    He responded: “Man United with Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez and Chelsea with Jose Mourinho in charge.”

    The former Spanish international spent four-and-a-half seasons at Chelsea after his move from Barcelona.

    Fabregas has now given the Blues some transfer advice amid the arrival of the January window.

    “Dani Olmo could be a great addition if Chelsea continues to play in this system,” he replied when asked if he could sign any Spaniard for the club.

    Having come through the academies at Barcelona and Arsenal, Fabregas will be fully aware of what it’s like to be an up and coming prospect.

    There is a lot of young talent in the game at the moment, with the ex-midfielder revealing who he thinks is the best.

    “I really like Musiala from Bayern Munich. Too talent, intelligent and it looks like he has great determination.”

    Fabregas is now into the twilight years of his career and currently plays for Como in the Italian Serie B.

    So much success has come his way, with the former midfielder being a star at all the clubs he has played for.
