According to Jamie Carragher, Harry Kane is unlikely to join Manchester United this summer. The Tottenham striker has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as the Red Devils look to add a goalscorer to their squad. However, Carragher believes that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will reject any approach from United, just as he did with Manchester City’s attempt to sign Kane last year. Instead, Carragher thinks that United will turn their attention to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. Meanwhile, Kane is expected to stay at Spurs as he aims to break the all-time Premier League scoring record. Carragher tweeted that Kane wants to stay in the Premier League and won’t go abroad for free next summer. The England captain is out of contract in 2024 and is just 53 goals behind Alan Shearer’s record of 260 Premier League goals. Although Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for Kane, Carragher believes that he will stay at Tottenham.
