League Two Matches Postponed Due to Waterlogged Pitches
Several League Two matches scheduled for Saturday at Mansfield, Bradford City, Forest Green, and Sutton United have been postponed due to waterlogged pitches.
Mansfield’s Match Called Off
Mansfield’s match against MK Dons was called off following an inspection by a local referee. Parts of the pitch had been covered all week due to persistent torrential rain.
Bradford’s match against Salford City, Sutton’s game against Harrogate Town, and Forest Green’s fixture with Wrexham also fell victim to the weather.
However, Grimsby’s game against Crewe will go ahead as scheduled following a series of inspections at Blundell Park. Barrow’s scheduled home game against Gillingham was postponed on Friday, and a number of ties in the third round of the non-league FA Trophy have also been called off.
Dates for the rearranged League Two fixtures have yet to be confirmed.
