Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister will only leave Brighton this summer if offers in excess of £70m come in for each man. There is significant interest in both players, with Arsenal most interested in Caicedo, but Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been linked with him as well. Mac Allister is a target for the Reds, among other clubs. The Gunners bid £70m for the Ecuadorian in January but saw their offer turned down and they will have to come back with an even bigger bid in the summer if they want to bring him to north London. Despite looking like he wanted to force through the move in January, Caicedo has since signed a new contract with Brighton until 2027, with the club holding an option for another year. Mac Allister is also on a long deal, with his running until 2025 with the Seagulls holding a year’s option on top of that as well. As a result, Sky Sports report that each man will cost comfortably more than £70m this summer if they are to be signed by another club.

Mac Allister scored the only goal of the game as Brighton beat Manchester United in the Premier League this week and spoke of how happy he is at the club, despite interest from elsewhere. He told Sky Sports: ‘I’ve been here three-and-a-half years. I know what this club gave to me, I’m really grateful and I’m really happy to be here. It’s a fantastic team, like a family, so every time I’m on the pitch I really enjoy being here. The way we play is very nice, my team-mates are fantastic. It’s down to them as well. I’m really pleased to play with them and they help me to be a better player every day.’
