BBC and ITV pundits, Roy Keane and Ian Wright, to receive no pay rise next season.

BBC Sport and ITV Sport football pundits have been informed that they will not receive a pay rise next season. This includes Roy Keane, who works for ITV across domestic and international football, as well as Ian Wright, who works for both BBC and ITV across various competitions. The decision comes after reports of Sky Sports axing broadcasters from their coverage, including Soccer AM’s 30-year stint and long-time reporter Geoff Shreeves. Sky Sports has stated that their coverage of football is evolving to reflect the changing habits of viewers and will involve the creation of new roles and the closing of some existing roles. Meanwhile, BT Sport will be renamed TNT Sports following a merger with Warner Bros Discovery, which also owns Eurosport. Premier League games will be shown under a new channel from next season as BT Sport’s deal to show games runs until 2025.
