Tyler Adams may get an immediate return to the Premier League, with Aston Villa, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest all reportedly keen on bringing him straight back to the top flight. The 24-year-old moved to Elland Road from RB Leipzig last summer for around £20m when his American compatriot Jesse Marsch was in charge of the team. After Marsch was sacked, then his replacement Javi Gracia dismissed, and now his replacement Sam Allardyce gone, Leeds find themselves in the Championship. Adams only managed 24 Premier League appearances in his one season with Leeds so far, but he has done enough to attract the attention of other top flight sides.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Villa, Newcastle and Forest are all keen to snap him up and they will be able to do so for £30m, as Adams reportedly has a £30m release clause in the contract he signed last summer. The USA international, who impressed at the World Cup, will likely be keen to stay in the Premier League if possible, especially with the likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa able to offer European football.
Leeds will have a fight to keep a number of their players, especially their exciting forwards who looked the brightest sparks in the relegated team which struggled to defend throughout the season. The likes of Wilfried Gnonto, Rodrgio, Jack Harrison, Luis Sinisterra and Crysencio Summerville may all be the subject of bids from other clubs.
