# Eddie Nketiah Scores Hat-trick as Arsenal Thrash Sheffield United 5-0

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta hailed Eddie Nketiah as an “incredible person” after the striker scored a hat-trick in the Gunners’ 5-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Nketiah’s treble, which included two goals in the opening 10 minutes, was the highlight of a dominant performance from Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

The 21-year-old has now scored five goals in his last three matches and Arteta was full of praise for the youngster.

## Eddie Nketiah’s Hat-trick Seals Arsenal Victory

Nketiah opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a close-range finish after being set up by Bukayo Saka. He then doubled Arsenal’s lead six minutes later, heading in from a Nicolas Pepe corner.

The England Under-21 international then completed his hat-trick in the second half, tapping in from a Saka cross.

Saka added a fourth goal shortly afterwards, before substitute Alexandre Lacazette rounded off the scoring with a late penalty.

## Mikel Arteta Praises Eddie Nketiah

After the match, Arteta praised Nketiah’s performance and said he was “very proud” of the striker.

“Eddie is an incredible person,” he said. “He works really hard every day and he’s getting his rewards now. He’s still young and he has a lot to learn but he’s doing really well.”

The victory was Arsenal’s fourth in a row in all competitions and moved them up to 10th in the Premier League table. They will be looking to continue their good form when they face Leeds United on Sunday.
