Arsenal's New Kit Honors Invincibles Season 20 Years Later

On Friday, Arsenal unveiled their new home kit for the 2023-24 season, paying tribute to the Invincibles, who went unbeaten throughout the 2003-04 Premier League campaign. The Adidas kit features several striking gold features, including a gold badge and Adidas logo, as well as stripes and trim on the sleeves. The Gunners will debut the kit in their final match of the season at home to Wolves on Sunday, while supporters can already purchase it and see it in action on Saturday when Arsenal Women host Aston Villa. The “authentic” version of the shirt also includes a hidden nod to the Invincibles, with Arsenal’s record of 26 wins and 12 draws stitched into the side of the jersey in the order of each result. Forward Bukayo Saka, who recently signed a new four-year deal with the club, thanked Arsenal fans for their support and said that celebrating this moment together makes the team excited to wear the shirt next season.
