Arsenal vs Tottenham: What’s been said?

Gunners head coach Eidevall on the ticket sales for the game: “It’s been incredible to see the demand for tickets for the North London Derby.

“You can really feel the excitement around the game at the moment so it’s amazing to see that translate into a record-breaking attendance.

“Now it’s our job to repay that enthusiasm with a big performance in this crucial clash for our supporters.”

Spurs boss Skinner echoed her opposing manager’s comments. She said: “We’re looking forward to playing in front of a record number of fans, which everyone was hoping to achieve. The previous record stood for too long.

“The players will relish the opportunity to play in front of a large volume of fans. The excitement on the pitch today in training was evident.

“It will pose challenges in terms of communication, making it difficult to hear, but that’s the route we want to go down and get used to. I can only see positives in it.

“We’re seen as underdogs and that’s fine by us. There’s no pressure and nothing to lose. We just need to do our jobs well.”
