# Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka Named in PFA Premier League Team of the Year
The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has announced the Premier League Team of the Year for the 2020/21 season, and it includes Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka.
Manchester City won the Premier League title last season, finishing five points clear of their rivals, and five of their players have been included in the team. Alongside Haaland are Rodri and Kevin de Bruyne in midfield, and John Stones and Ruben Dias in defence.
Arsenal have four players in the team – Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard and Saka. Saka was also named the PFA Young Player of the Year at the awards ceremony in Manchester on Tuesday evening.
Harry Kane has been included in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the sixth time in his career after scoring 30 goals in his final season at Tottenham before his move to Bayern Munich earlier this summer.
Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier is the only other player from outside of Manchester City and Arsenal to make the cut.
Manchester United finished third in the Premier League but none of Erik ten Hag’s players won enough votes to make it into the team. Liverpool, who finished fifth in the Premier League last term, are also without a player in the PFA Team of the Year for the first time in seven years.
The PFA Premier League Team of the Year is voted for by the players and is seen as one of the highest honours a player can receive. It is a testament to the quality of the players that have been included this year, and a reminder of just how competitive the Premier League is.
