Arsenal Open to Offers for Eddie Nketiah, Three Other Stars

Arsenal are reportedly open to offers for four of their players this summer, including Eddie Nketiah. The 24-year-old striker has been with the Gunners since coming through the academy and has registered a total of 32 goals and five assists across 131 games.

Nketiah in the Spotlight

Nketiah was propelled into the starting XI last season when Gabriel Jesus was injured and he scored four times in the Premier League as Arsenal missed out on the title to Manchester City. He is under contract until 2027 but according to the Independent, the north Londoners are open to selling him this summer if the right offer comes in.

Folarin Balogun’s Future

Arsenal are also listening to offers for fellow striker Folarin Balogun – but are only willing to let one forward leave – so either he or Nketiah will stay at the Emirates. Balogun has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, who see him as the perfect replacement for Edin Dzeko. But Inter face competition from city rivals AC Milan as well as Jose Mourinho’s Roma to secure Balogun’s signature, following his impressive loan at Reims.

Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney

The other two players Arsenal are open to selling are midfielder Thomas Partey and defender Kieran Tierney. Arsenal have given Partey permission to explore a transfer to a club in Saudi Arabia while there are two Italian sides linked to the Ghana international. Meanwhile, the Gunners have told Newcastle United that it will cost them more than £30m to sign Tierney this summer.

Conclusion

It remains to be seen which players Arsenal will let go this summer, but it is clear that they are open to offers for Eddie Nketiah, Folarin Balogun, Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney. With the transfer window set to open soon, it won’t be long before we find out who will be staying and who will be leaving the Emirates Stadium.
