Good morning Arsenal fans
Mykhaylo Mudryk is Arsenal’s ‘main priority’ when the January transfer window opens, according to Fabrizio Romano.
“I think the main priority is Mudryk,” Romano told GimeMeSport.
“The player they want is Mudryk. It’s about the price because Shakhtar have been really strong in negotiations for more than a year.
“They want big money for Mudryk and it is not easy.”
Arsenal have been left sweating over an injury to wonderkid Khayon Edwards.
The 19-year-old forward went down during an U21 match against Stoke and was soon stretchered off.
Edwards was in the Europa League squads for both the Bodo Glimt and PSV games.
It’s a blow for the teenager, who has suffered misfortune with injuries this campaign.
Emile Smith Rowe has revealed his happiness for his team mates while he’s had to sit on the sidelines through injury.
He said: “It’s going really well at the moment, I’m really happy for the team but sometimes it’s annoying when I can’t feel like I’m involved, I can’t be on the pitch with them.
“It’s amazing to see them doing so well & I can’t wait to get back.”
Meanwhile, Arsenal are taking teenage sensation Myles Lewis-Skelly to Dubai for the warm winter training camp, according to reports.
The 16-year-old has already broken into the U21 squad and famously made headlines in 2021 when he scored as a 14-year-old making his debut for the U18’s.
Now, according to Arsenal Youth blog, he will be joining up with Mikel Arteta’s depleted first team squad during the break.
