Arsenal are set to swoop for three new players in the January transfer window as they push to seal their first Premier League title since 2004.
Mikel Arteta’s side have won 11 of their 13 league games and sit pretty at the top of the table – two-points ahead of bookies’ favourites City.
A win for the Gunners at Wolves on Sunday would mean they go into the World Cup break in the top spot at Christmas.
Arteta knows his side have a huge opportunity to end their title drought and has pinpointed three new faces to help bolster his squad ahead of the run-in.
The player is believed to have told boss Brendan Rodgers he has no interest in signing a new deal.
Tielemans has been in superb form in recent weeks and Rodgers will not want to lose his captain before the end of the season as the Foxes bid to avoid a relegation dogfight.
But an offer from Arsenal in January could be too good for cash-strapped Leicester to turn down for a player who can leave for free next June.

Arsenal technical director Edu, also has his sights set on Palmeiras midfielder Danilo with sources close to Arsenal suggesting it is a deal that is far more likely to materialise.
The 21-year-old has made a name for himself in Brazil’s Serie A, winning the Copa Libertadores twice and lifting the Brazilian league title this year.
Meanwhile, Italian Journalist Mirko Di Natale revealed Arsenal have bid £52.2million for Ukraine international Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The Shakhtar Donetsk winger was linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in August after Nicolas Pepe’s loan move to Nice but Arteta opted to stick with his existing personnel.
Following a strong showing in this season’s Champions League, Arsenal have taken steps to get a deal for the 21-year-old over the line ahead of a January move.
