Mudryk is the Gunners’ priority target for the January window, and they already appear to have taken steps to secure their man.

The Daily Mail have reported that Mikel Arteta’s side have submitted a £57million bid to Shakhtar Donetsk for the 21-year-old.

His current club have not yet accepted an offer but with the winger keen on a transfer, personal terms won’t be an issue.

Amid the news of such a transfer, Mudryk used Instagram to research possible new teammates.

He uploaded a video to his story of Eddie Nketiah’s goal against West Ham on Boxing Day, with the Gunners going on to win 3-1.

The result now sees them go seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table after 15 games.

The Gunners are seeking their first title since 2004 and will likely strengthen in January to boost their efforts.

With Gabriel Jesus thought to be out for around three months through injury, Arsenal are set to make an attacking signing.

Mudryk could very well be that man, having already scored ten goals in 18 games so far this season.

It could be a match made in heaven for the north London side, with Mudryk himself said to be focused on a move.
