Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a shock swoop to sign Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford on a free transfer next year.
The 24-year-old is into the last year of his contract at Old Trafford, though the Red Devils do have the option to trigger a 12-month extension.
But they have yet to exercise their clause, with the England international free to speak to foreign clubs over a move away from January.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain were keen to sign the player in the summer.
However, United boss Erik ten Hag blocked a potential exit as he insisted Rashford is a key player for him.
A new destination has emerged for Rashford, with Football Insider stating Arsenal are keeping close tabs on his situation at the Theatre of Dreams.
It was reported earlier this year how Rashford was being monitored by Mikel Arteta as a possible replacement for Alexandre Lacazette up top.
But Arsenal opted to bring in Gabriel Jesus instead from Manchester City, with the Brazilian boasting five Premier League goals to his name this season.

Arsenal appear to have retained their interest in Rashford, who is claimed to be valued at around £50million by United.
With his future in question, though, Arsenal could manage to secure his services for nothing.
Rashford has chipped in with three goals and two assists in seven games in all competitions this term.
Two of those strikes came against the Gunners last month where his double helped United beat Arteta’s side 3-1.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have received a huge boost with it said that Hale End graduate Bukayo Saka is closing in on a new deal.
The 21-year-old – tied down at the Emirates until 2024 – is reported to have agreed a five-year £52million contract worth £200,000-a-week.
That is almost SEVEN TIMES more than his current £30k weekly salary where he is one of the lowest-paid players in the Arsenal squad.
And Arsenal have also opened talks to extend French centre-back William Saliba’s stay in North London.
That is according to The Times, who have stated that the 21-year-old will be offered a significant increase on his current £40k-a-week salary.
