Arsenal are set to up their record bid for Manchester United and England goalkeeper Mary Earps. The Gunners have already seen one offer for the winner of the prestigious World Cup Golden Gloves Award rejected. According to DAZN (via Arseblog News), however, Arsenal have upped their bid to a figure in excess of the record £100,000 for a goalkeeper paid for Kailen Sheridan by San Diego Wave.

Speaking about Russo’s departure, her Lionesses and former United colleague, Ella Toone said: ‘She’s my best mate, so it’s always nice to have someone who’s so close by your side every single day. But that’s part and parcel of football, and people move on and Alessia has moved on. She’s starting a new chapter in her career. I wish her all the best, she’ll be a massive loss around the club, unbelievable player but also an unbelievable person to have in the dressing room.
