ARSENAL and Chelsea’s matches in southern America were delayed by an hour or so because of tornados warnings.
Both teams take presctiption their pre-season tour from the States using the London rivals to manage one another over the past weekend within the Florida Cup final.
However their formulations hit a bit of a snag badly weather in Orlando in Florida and Charlotte now in New York pressed their games back.
Lightning storms pressed Arsenal‘s fixture against Orlando City back by an hour or so, while Chelsea began 75 minutes later against Charlotte now FC.
Fans who have been already relaxing in the Exploria Stadium and Bank of the usa Stadium were advised to depart their seats and seek emergency shelter.
A note around the giant screen at Orlando’s ground read: “Inclement weather. Please seek shelter.”


Meanwhile Charlotte now told supporters: “Seek shelter. Because of tornados in the region, we ask that you simply please exit the seating bowl and seek shelter within the concourse.
“Updates is going to be made when available.”
The delay did not affect Arsenal’s performance because they ran out easy 3-1 winners against their MLS opponents.
Gabriel Martinelli scored within the first half for that Gunners, with Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson adding goals within the other half.
