According to Manchester United legend Andy Cole, Arsenal will have a strong chance of challenging for the Premier League title next season if they sign either Declan Rice or Moises Caicedo this summer. Arsenal finished second in the 2022-23 season after a late-season wobble allowed Manchester City to secure their third consecutive title. Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to bolster his squad ahead of next season, with the Gunners said to be closing in on a £100m deal for Rice. Caicedo, who Arsenal made several bids for in January, is also expected to move this summer amid interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City. Cole believes that signing either player would be a huge coup for Arsenal and improve their chances of winning the Premier League title.
