Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has opened up to Football Focus’ Liam MacDevitt about the difficulty of making it in the world of football. The 21-year-old has spoken about his own battle to stay at the top of the game and his desire to help those who may not have been as fortunate as him. To do this, he has set up ‘The After Academy’ project, which provides support and guidance for players who have been released from football academies.
Alexander-Arnold is passionate about giving players the best chance to succeed in their careers and is determined to make a difference. He believes that by providing support and guidance to those who have been released from academies, they can get back on track and continue their footballing journey.
