According to Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer, Harry Kane should consider a move to Manchester United as Tottenham fans would not begrudge him leaving this summer. Shearer believes that Kane is at a crossroads in his career and the time has come for him to seriously consider a move away from north London. Manchester United have made Kane their number one target and the striker will have 12 months remaining on his deal at the end of the season, with little intention of signing an extension. Spurs are desperate to keep Kane and even if they reluctantly decided to let him leave, they’ll demand in excess of £100m for the striker. Kane is chasing down Shearer’s Premier League scoring record and is keen to stay in England to ensure he breaks it.
