Lionel Messi reportedly couldn’t contain his laughter when his friend Sergio Aguero showed him where Inter Miami are in the MLS standings. The Argentine superstar has decided to leave Europe and join Inter Miami in the MLS when his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires this month. However, David Beckham’s MLS franchise is currently at the bottom of the division, and when Aguero showed Messi a screenshot of the Eastern Conference standings, the ex-PSG star burst out laughing. Aguero and Messi have been friends since their youth days, and Messi is even the godfather to Aguero’s son Benjamin. While there is plenty of work for Messi to do at Inter Miami, his debut might not come until July 21 when they face Liga MX side Cruz Azul in a Leagues Cup clash.
